The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
